| All of these posters were created by 2 very experienced and caring teachers. Between them, Laurie Minick and Lydia Priest have over 60 years experience in the classroom and both are still active in the teaching profession. Laurie Minick was voted as the Round Rock Independent School District Elementary Teacher of the Year for the 2003-2004 school year from a field of approximately 1500 teachers. For the past 20 years, Laurie has worked closely with special education students to modify the curriculum to ensure their understanding and success. She has dedicated her career to helping students master concepts and become successful and independent. Lydia Priest has taught grades 3 through 6 in five different school districts throughout Texas and has dedicated her career to helping students become successful, independent thinkers. Serving also as a TAG (G/T) instructor, Lydia has learned to modify instruction to meet the needs of her students and differentiate the curriculum. As a young student, Lydia often resorted to unusual methods and strategies to help herself understand math concepts. This “out of the box” thinking helps her relate well with her students and helps them gain confidence and become successful. Thank you for visiting this website and for your business.
